As the name suggests the car charger is used to recharge the battery of a vehicle. Undoubtedly it seems a full charge is indicative of two markers. The reading of the dial will be done during the recharge of the latter.
Though not fully charged a car battery is considered charged at 124 volts or higher.
Any voltage above 129 volts is a good indicator that your battery has excessive voltage. If the reading is 1245 volts or less the battery is low and needs to be recharged. Fully charged automotive batteries should measure at 126 volts or above. In most battery chargers there will be a power light indicating that there is power to the charger and there may also be a full charge indicator light that would alert you that the battery has obtained a full charge and is finished.
